The executive team of Eastcom is comprised of a group of industry veterans united by a shared vision to bring productivity optimisation solutions that maximise profitability and compliance to the enterprise environment.

(Ram) V. Ramasubramanian, Founder, Chairman, & CEO

Ram, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Eastcom Systems, is an established business leader with over 30 years of professional and academic experience. Recognising the need for innovative cost management products and services in the Asian market, Ram founded Eastcom Systems in 1992. Since Eastcom Systems' founding, Ram has successfully introduced a series of products and services that have been adopted by Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Ram's innovations and contributions to Eastcom Systems have also garnered numerous grants and awards from the Singaporean government and from established IT industry bodies. Most recently, Eastcom Systems won the highly respected APICTA (Asia Pacific ICT Award) award in 2007 for their innovation in the communications applications category.

Prior to Eastcom Systems, Ram held directorship, managerial, and engineering positions with M/S Digicon (India) Pvt Ltd, Maharastra Electronic Corporation Ltd (India), Advani Oerlikon Ltd (India), and Indian Tube Company Ltd (A Tata Group Company).

Ram currently holds a patent in least-cost communications routing techniques and is also an advisor to Bay Talkitec Pvt Ltd, a leading telecom solutions company.

Ram holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Madras, a Bachelor of Technology degree from Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA degree from XLRI Jamshedpur.

(Shankar) Chandrabalan Jeyasankar, VP of Technology

Shankar is VP of Technology and brings more than 20 years of product development and business experience to Eastcom Systems. Having been with Eastcom since its inception, Shankar is responsible for devising and executing the global technology blueprint for Eastcom’s product and service platforms and building and managing a world-class R&D team focused on innovative universal cost management solutions. Having direct experience in the retail, manufacturing, finance and telecommunications sectors, Shankar brings a multi-faceted approach to his development and project management efforts and delivers innovation and quality to each and every one of Eastcom’s customers.

Shankar holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Madurai Kamaraj University, India a Post Graduate Diploma on Computer Applications from Bharathiyar University, India.

(Sekar) M. S. Chandrasekaran, VP of Business Development

Sekar is VP of Business Development and brings more than 18 years of product development and business experience to Eastcom Systems. He is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, getting new customers, driving global sales and marketing strategies as well as delivering services and products to Eastcom’s clients.

Prior to Eastcom Systems, Sekar held senior managerial and engineering positions at Intel Corporation (USA), the world leader in Silicon innovation and a leading maker of semiconductor chips. He has wide range of experience in product development, applications support, customer support, operations, program management, strategic planning and supplier management.

Sekar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from Bangalore University, India, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from University of Georgia, USA and an MBA from Arizona State University, USA.

Charles Madapa, Operations Manager

Charles Madapa is Operations Manager and brings more than 17 years of business experience to Eastcom Systems. He is responsible for leading the sales and business operations and the infrastructure teams at Eastcom. Known for delighting his customers, Charles has a very strong background in operations, sales, technical support, and facilities management. He also designs and ensures internal business processes and controls are aligned with Eastcom's global growth ambitions.

Prior to Eastcom Systems, Charles led the project teams at vMoksha Technologies, a global IT services and solutions provider. He was involved in business application delivery which focused on the delivery of large to medium scale projects to private sector clients in Singapore. Charles also held senior positions at Indian IT-based companies like Silicon Computers Pvt Ltd and Weda Infotech Pvt Ltd.

Charles holds a Degree in Electronics and Communications from Bangalore University, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in PC Hardware and Networking Technologies from Silicon Computer Academy, Bangalore.
